Huang Wei ( May, 1963-)

Prof. Huang Wei, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is an expert in Organic Optoelectronics. He is a chair professor of the "Thousand Talents Program" and the "Cheung Kong Scholars Program", winner of the "National Outstanding Youth Fund", chief scientist of the "National 973 Programs", visiting professor of National University of Singapore, honorary professor and part-time professor of Peking University and the Chemistry Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the other research institutes. He leads the construction of the discipline of organic optoelectronics which has been listed into the dominant disciplines to be constructed with priority in Jiangsu Province. He is invited reviewer for more than 40 well-known international academic journals and a number of international academic foundations. He has published more than 480 academic papers in SCI Journals as first author or corresponding author. He has won a first prize and two second prizes of the Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. He has won titles of "Nanjing Top 10 Star of Science and Technology", "Jiangsu Provincial Outstanding Worker of Science and Technology", "National Advanced Worker of Science and Technology", "Jiangsu Provincial 333 High-Level Personnel", "Chief Young Scientist"etc.
