Xu Nanping (April, 1961-)

Prof. Xu Nanping is an academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, an expert in chemical engineering, one of the chief scientists of National "973" Program launched for the research in the field of membrane, an expert of National "863" Program, vice president of the Membrane Industry Association of China, vice president of the seawater desalination and water reuse branch under Chinese Society for Oceanography, and vice chairman of China Chemical Engineering Professionals Committee. In the past decade, Prof. Xu has published more than 200 periodical papers, 160 of which can be retrieved from SCI and EI, and has written 3 professional books. Also Prof. Xu has applied for 40 patent rights, 18 of which have gone through the provincial appraisal. Prof. Xu has won a second prize and a third prize of the National Science and Technology Award and a second prize of the National Technology Invention Award, and the titles of "National Excellent Teacher", "Model Worker of Jiangsu Province", and "Jiangsu Provincial talent for innovation", "Top Ten Scientific and Technological Stars in Nanjing" .
