Vice President Gong Jianming and his delegation visited the Department of Innovation, Investigation and University of Aragon Government and were welcomed by Mª Teresa Gálvez, General Director and Mr. Fernando Beltrán, Deputy Director on the morning of November 27. General Director Mª Teresa Gálvez noted that Aragon goverment attached importance to science and technology collaboartion with Nanjing Tech University and hoped to establish frienly relationship with Jiangsu Province. Vice President Gong Jianming highly appraised Aragon Government's innovation in fostering high-end talents and hoped to strengthen the partnership between both sides.

In the afternoon, Vice President Gong Jianming attended the University of Zaragoza Confucius Institute Council, held discussions on cultural exchange and research collaborations with his counterparts and unanimously approved the Confucius Institute Panel Change and Working and Budget Report 2017. Both universities agreed to strengthen cooperation under the framework of Confucius Institute.

During his visit, Vice President Gong Jianming also visited the University of Zaragoza's national institute of material science and Nano-technology center.
