On April 28, the brass-tripod presented by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government to our Centennial Anniversary arrived at Jiangpu campus, and was installed at the center of the recently established Teaching and Laboratory Building Square. The tripod , which weighs 3 tons, is 3 metres in height and 1.5 metres in width. Prof. Wang Xuefeng, the secretary of commission for CPC of NJUT and Prof. Zhu Yuezhao, Vice president of NJUT, attended the reception ceremony.

Installed on the main campus--the Jiangpu campus, the tripod is the drive of all the faculty and students, inspiring NJUT to become a modern and multi-disciplinary university with international fame.
