On Oct. 15, the 12thInternational Conference of Concrete alkali-aggregate reaction, co-organized by NJUT, the Chinese Ceramic Society and the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Metallurgy and Materials of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was held at Beijing International Convention Centre. Prof. Tang Mingshu, the chairman of this conference, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and an expert of inorganic nonmetallic material of NJUT presided over the conference. More than 200 experts and scholars from 29 countries and regions, such as USA, Japan, Canada, France, UK, etc. attended the conference. CCTV gave it a spot coverage.
Within the five days, experts active in the research of international academy exchanged their ideas and shared their achievements on the theme.
