Led by Prof. Wang Hao, the dean of Physical Education Department and the chief coach Song Qiuyuan as well as other coaches, such as Chen Weiqing and Zhang Lixia, NJUT Softball Team, on behalf of Nanjing, went to Wuhan to take part in the Sixth National City Games softball game of the People's Republic of China from October 27thto November 3rd. Almost 10,000 athletes from 74 cities attended this game and the scale was unprecedented, and it was the largest comprehensive sports since the 2008 Olympic Games. 8 city teams attended this softball game. In the afternoon of November 3rd, our team got a winning of 6:2 over the strong Guangzhou team, and won its sixth National Games softball championship.
