On October 20, Mie University's President delegation of four visited NJUT. The members were: Prof. Nagayasu Toyoda, the President, Prof. Hideo Kobayashi of the School of Medical Science and Research, the vice-president, Prof. Hiroshi Ehara , the president's assistant, and Prof. Xiulun Wang of the School of Biological Resources Research and the International Exchange Center.

The delegation visited the Jiangpu campus. The leaders of both sides introduced the universities respectively and stated that they were delighted at the signing of cooperation agreement in July, 2008, and wished that they would further practical cooperation in the future as soon as possible. Then they had photos taken together and Prof. Sun Weimin, vice-president, and Prof. Zhang Jinming, president's assistant deeply discussed issues on student and teacher exchanges, management personnel co-visits and combination of teaching research and production with their Japanese counterparts.
