Five NanjingTech projects of the Recruitment Program of High-end Foreign Experts (RPHFE) in 2015 have been officially approved by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA) recently.

As an important supplement to the Recruitment Program of Global Experts, the Recruitment Program of High-end Foreign Experts is initiated for foreign experts who work in China for a short time (at least one month). It is to recruit non-ethnic Chinese experts, who are strategic scientists, leading experts in natural sciences and technology, humanities and social sciences, or internationalized innovative teams capable of achieving critical technological breakthroughs, advancing the high-tech industries and promoting new disciplines. The procedure of application is very strict and experts in this program could be supported financially by SAFEA for 3 consecutive years.

It is reported that of the total 86 applications of the Recruitment Program of High-end Foreign Experts in Jiangsu Province, only 43 were finally approved by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs and NanjingTech's projects accounts for 11.6%. These projects will play an important role in promoting NanjingTech's talent recruitment and its globalization.
