NanjingTech International Students Participated in the Chinese Cultural Practice Activity


On New Year’s Day in 2022, 16 international students of the College of Overseas Education, who came from Britain, Togo, Russia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and other countries participated in the Chinese cultural practice activity at Nanjing Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Center (Qinhuai Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum).

Supported by the People’s Daily Digital Communication (Jiangsu) Ltd., NanjingTech international students had the opportunity to wearhanfu- traditional Chinese clothing, and admire the Kunqu makeup process and the wonderfulPeony Paviliondelivered by Jiangsu Kunqu Theater. The international students were impressed by the 135 intangible cultural heritage items and outstanding works in the Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum and tasted the delicious Nanjing snacks as well. They were captivated in thehanfu, intangible cultural heritage, opera, and food. Ding Yili, an international student from Togo, was also interviewed by People’s Daily.
