Research Interests

Design and preparation of novel materials based on zeolitic molecular sieves, porous organic polymers including COFs and poly(ionic liquid)s, carbon, and nano metals, towards the following application areas:

1) Heterogeneous catalysis (e.g., biomass and CO2 conversion);

2) Photocatalysis (e.g., HER and ORR);

3) Electrocatalysis (e.g., CO2RR);

4) Environmental catalysis;

5) Gases adsorption and separation (e.g., CO2 capture).

Academic achievements

Up to date of 2023, nearly 300 SCI-indexed peer reviewed journal paper have been published, including those published in Science, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J. Am. Chem. Soc., J. Catal., AIChE J., and Sci. Chin. Chem. The studies are continuously supported by National Natural foundation of China, and by the projects from local government and industrial community. More than 120 PhD and MS candidates have graduated from our research group.
