Academic achievements
Prof. Liu has presided over multiple funds including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Science and Technology Research Project, the National '863' Project, the Ministry of Education Doctoral Special Research Fund Project, the Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation Project, the Jiangsu Provincial Social Development Fund, and has completed more than 50 enterprise scientific research and development projects, of which five achievements won the second and third prizes of the Ministry and Provincial Science and Technology Progress. More than 40 national invention patents have been authorized, and more than 340 academic papers have been published till now.
Prof. Liu participated in the compilation and publication of two monographs such as 'Chemical Dictionary'. The research results have been widely used in petrochemical, chemical, pesticide and other industries and achieved significant economic and social benefits. Prof. Liu is the chief editor of the 'Chemical Technology' as the national 'Eleventh Five-Year Plan' and 'Twelfth Five-Year Plan' planning textbook, and has won one first-prize and two second-prizes for national teaching achievements, as well as one special-prize, one first-prize and one second-prize for teaching achievements in Jiangsu Province.
Prof. Liu is currently the chairman of the Chemical Postgraduate Engineering Education Committee of Jiangsu Chemical Society, a director of Jiangsu Chemical Society, and an editorial board member of Journal of Chemical Engineering of Universities, Chemical Reaction Engineering and Technology, and Coal Chemical Industry.
Prof. Liu has won the title of "Pacesetter of Female Meritorious Service" of the Ministry of Chemical Industry, and has been rated as a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions in Jiangsu Province, a young and middle-aged scientific and technological leader of the '333' Project in Jiangsu Province, an academic leader of the 'Qinglan Project' in Jiangsu Province, an outstanding scientific and technological worker in Jiangsu Province, an excellent Communist Party member in Jiangsu Province, and an advanced individual for teacher ethics in Jiangsu Province.
