Academic Achievements
Tianshi Qin received his B.Sc. from Nanjing University in China. Then he obtained M.Sc. from Martin Luther University and Ph.D. from Johannes Gutenberg University in Germany, respectively, under the supervision of Prof. Klaus Müllen. In 2006-2011, he worked at Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz as a Ph.D. candidate and postdoctoral researcher. In 2011-2016, he worked at Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in Melbourne, and operated several research grants from Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA), Victorian Organic Solar Cell Consortium (VICOSC) and Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics (ACAP). He joined Nanjing Tech from 2017 and awarded the Thousand Young Talents Plan in China. Now he is a full professor mainly researched on the structures and formulae of foremost materials, and obtained a cutting-edge achievement in large-area roll-to-roll printed flexible solar cells, which has been globally exhibited in G20 Brisbane 2014.
