Academic Achievements

Professor XIE Xiaoji focuses on the synthesis and applications of rare-earth doped nanoparticles and gold nanoparticles. He also developed functionalinorganic nanoparticles for other applications, such as catalysis and renewable energy. His work has been published onNatureMaterials, Accounts of Chemical Research, Journal of the American Chemical Society,Angewandte Chemie-International Editionand Smalland so forth, with over 500 citations. In 2012, he was awarded "Outstanding Self-paid Overseas Student Scholarship" from China Scholarship Council.
