Interests and Achievements
HANG’s group develops panchromatic phosphorescent electroluminescent materials, organic optoelectronic materials, and devices for lighting and display panels. His research includes the field of organic synthesis methodology, circularly polarized materials, super deuterated organometallic molecules and theory of excitonic features for optoelectronic functionality that serve a purpose of improving the optical performance in OLED applications.
HANG’s group has made a breakthrough progress in Platinum (Ⅱ) complexes with geometrically distorted excited state and their applications in light-emitting devices. His recent research interprets the inherit mechanism for narrow bandwidth emission of those organic Platinum complexes with new theory. Hang’s group also methodologically improves the OLED durability via using precisely deuterated emitter according to the secondary kinetic isotopic effect.
HANG’s group has received 11M contract funds for scientific research with a plus of 4M investment for commercial development in the past 5 years.
