Contacts

E-mail: iamlflai@njtech.edu.cn

Address: 5 Xin Mo Fan Road, Nanjing Tech University, Nanjing 210009, China

Research Interests

Energy storage applications of graphene: develop a novel method to modify carbon/graphene with conducting polymer/transition metal oxides for high rate, long lifetime supercapacitor and Li-ion batteries.

Graphene coating technology for corrosion protection: develop graphene based coating with controllable thickness for corrosion protection.

Biographical Information

2009-2013: PhD degree; Nanyang Technological Unviersity, Singapore.

2013-2015: Research Fellow; Nanyang Technological Unviersity, Singapore.

2015-present: Professor; Institute of Advanced Materials, Nanjing Tech University.

Academic Achievements

Prof. LAI Linfei has published over 20 SCI papers, and hold 3 US and international patents as first inventor. Her work on supercapacitors has resulted a laboratory scale a 3 fold increase in capacitance, which has been validated by Israeli company, and Singapore EDB granted 600,000 USD for further development of this technology into real product. As key member, she work together with Prof. Zexiang Shen and started graphene energy storage research center, China Energine, Beijing, where she set up graphene pilot plan for environmentally friendly production and energy storage applications of graphene-based materials.
