Prof. Peter Ashman, Head of School of Chemical Engineering, University of Adelaide paid a visit to Nanjing Tech University
on September 15th. Academician and President Huang Wei met Prof. Peter Ashman in C501, Science and Innovation Building.

During the meeting, President Huang extended his welcome to Prof. Ashman and pointed out that globalization is the most the
important ingredient of NanjingTech’s strategy of building a "comprehensive, research-oriented and globalized" university
and NanjingTech is sparing no effort to expedite cooperation with high-level overseas universities. As one of the oldest
universities in Australia, University of Adelaide has the most prestigious school of chemical engineering. NanjingTech expects
to intensify its collaboration with University of Adelaide in scientific research, talent cultivation, teachers and students
exchange and other cooperation projects.

After the meeting, Prof. Peter Ashman had a discussion on 3+1 joint program with Prof. Fan Yiqun, Dean of College of Chemical
Engineering and Prof. Jing Su, Deputy Director of International Relations Office. Both sides reached a consensus in terms of
the operative mode, allocation of teachers and enrollment marketing.
