The 9th National and Global Chinese Conference on Organic Molecules & Polymer Light-Emitting Materialsand Their Optoelectronic Properties together with the 1stConference on Organic Electronics

The pursuit of innovation, innovation and re-innovation, and advocating of globalization, diversity and collaboration, will become the new normality of China and even the world and change the theme of human civilization," confidently said Academician and President Huang Wei who is also the Chair of The 9th National and Global Chinese Conference on Organic Molecules & Polymer Light-Emitting Materials and Their Optoelectronic Properties together with the 1st Conference on Organic Electronics on the Opening Ceremony on October 12, 2015. Prof. Huang also boldly predicted that flexible electronics, covering organic electronics, plastic electronics, nanoelectronics, printing electronics and etc., will become national important strategic emerging industries and pillar industries that will boost the science and technology of China to the top of the world.
The Conference was sponsored by Chinese Physical Society and Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology and organized by Nanjing Tech University, people's government of Nanjing qixia district and Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone in association with Jiangsu Talents Association, people's government of Chuzhou nanqiao district, Chuning high-education & scientific creative city and Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. There are 5 plenary speakers, 104 invited speakers and 134 oral speakers from universities and research institutions of countries and regions such as America, Singapore, German, Korea, Sweden, Taiwan and Hong Kong with total attendance of nearly 1200.
The 9th National and Global Chinese Conference on Organic Molecules & Polymer Light-Emitting Materials and Their Optoelectronic Properties together with the 1st Conference on Organic Electronics lasted for four days and covered six main topics, Light-emitting organic molecules/polymers: theory, materials and devices, Photovoltaics based on organic molecules/polymers: theory, materials and devices, Perovskites, quantum dots and other new optoelectronic materials and devices, Thin film transistors based on organic molecules/polymers: theory, materials and devices, Organic molecules/polymers for sensing, memory, laser, nonlinear optics and so on and Development of key technologies in new optoelectronic materials and devices for commercialization. The Conference held more than 250 seminars with frequently spotlights and no empty seats and attracted widespread attention of mainstream media.

The attendees of these young scientists and students let us see the hope of original innovation," said Prof. FAN Xiwu on the closing ceremony, Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mehcanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, who is also the chair of the Conference. It is reported that next Conference will be separated into two. On the closing ceremony, the chair Huang Wei signed on both flags of the Conferences. Chair Fan Wuxi passed on the two flags to Fujian Normal University, the organizer of 2ndConference on organic electronics, and Taiyuan University of Technology, the organizer of the 10th National and Global Chinese Conference on Organic Molecules & Polymer Light-Emitting Materials and Their Optoelectronic Properties.
