Tailoring structure and functionality of materials for sustainable separation and energy technologies

This presentation introduces the development of nanostructured materials and composite membranes for sustainable gas separation, water purification and wastewater treatment, and electrochemical energy applications, including molecular sieve (carbon, zeolite and MOF) membranes and films for gas separation and microelectronics, synthesis and crystallisation mechanisms of zeolite and metal organic frameworks (MOFs), polymer composite membranes with fast water permeation and ion transport properties, novel materials for water desalination and treatment, and fuel cell electrocatalysts.
