报告题目:微生物燃料电池在土壤重金属污染治理中的应用

摘要

重金属元素是工业发展的副产品,然而,流失到环境中的重金属是重要的污染物。在土壤中的重金属污染,可能随着农作物进入我们的餐桌,从而影响广大人群的健康。从土壤环境中移除重金属,或者抑制重金属从土壤到植物的迁移,是控制重金属污染的两个重要方法。但是目前已有的重金属土壤修复方法,都或多或少有花费高,效果有限,容易造成二次污染等问题。

  近年来,我们利用微生物燃料电池技术,探索了多种可能的土壤污染治理办法。研究发现,利用微生物燃料电池的微小电流可以驱动重金属离子移动,进而达到移除重金属的目的;此外,利用微生物燃料电池的阳极微生物与铁还原微生物的竞争作用,可以有效的控制砷污染水稻中铁还原和砷释放过程,从而减少砷在水稻籽粒中的积累。在以上工作的基础上,有望为重金属污染农田的治理,开拓一条新的可持续利用道路。
