7月5日下午，应王超教授邀请，瑞士日内瓦大学StefanMatile教授来访我院，并为大家作了一场题为“Functional Supramolecular Chemistry”的学术报告。

报告中，Matile教授从阴离子-π作用在模拟离子通道中的应用开始，相继引入了阴离子-π催化、chalcogen bonds催化和pnictogen bonds催化的概念，并介绍了课题组在该方向的研究进展。以chalcogen bonds催化的dithienothiophenes为连接点，Matile教授介绍了该课题组发展的一类荧光探针。该探针对生物膜的张力作用敏感，可以显示生物体系中力的作用。利用动态共价作用，Matile教授设计了一系列基于cyclic oligochalcogenides的小分子细胞摄取载体，介绍了该类细胞载体在将难于进入细胞的量子点或人工金属酶等底物引入细胞中的应用。

Professor Stefan Matile is a Full Professor at the University of Geneva and a founding member of the National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) Chemical Biology and the NCCR Molecular Systems Engineering. Currently, he also serves as the President of the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry. His research interests are in functional supramolecular chemistry, supramolecular systems in action.He is the co-author of more than 300 publications, many in top journals (57JACS, etc), and has delivered more than 270 lectures all over the world. About half of the more than 100 junior researchers he has trained so far (PhD, postdoc) are now active in academia (China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, USA, etc); others preferred a career in industry, or elsewhere.
