资源简介：

前沿（Frontiers）系列期刊是由教育部主管、高等教育出版社主办和出版、Springer等公司海外发行的系列英文学术期刊，旨在集中高校科研优势，凝聚国内科研力量，建设一个中国自有品牌的国际学术交流平台。

前沿系列期刊于2006年创刊，涵盖基础科学、工程技术、生命科学、人文社会科学众多领域，是目前国内覆盖学科最广的系列英文学术期刊，前沿系列期刊数据库共含32种全英文学术期刊，持续更新的期刊28种，其中自然科学类20种，人文社会科学类8种，部分期刊被SCI、EI、CSCD（中国科学引文数据库）等收录。系列期刊在出版方式上采用单篇在线优先出版（Online First），保证文章以最快速度发表。

平台采用Just Accepted、Online First、Issue三种版本更替上网机制，在保证论文学术质量的前提下实现即时发布、快速传播；在遵循国际开放标准的结构化全文数据的基础上，提升对图表及参考文献的处理能力；实时提供包含浏览、引用、分享和讨论的单篇论文评价数据；努力与作者写作环境融合；与国内外第三方平台广泛合作，努力提升学术论文的可见度。
