个人简介

严明,副教授,硕士生导师。1996年于南京大学获生物化学理学硕士学位,1997-2000年在南京军区南京总医院检验中心工作,2001年至今在新利18彩票 从事生物信息学与微生物应用技术的科研和教学工作,作为生物信息学研究室负责人,在蛋白质工程和代谢工程等领域的应用研究积累了丰富的经验。近年来参加了国家973项目“新一代生物催化与生物转化的科学基础”和“人工合成细胞工厂”等多项国家与省部级研究项目。在国内外检索期刊上发表论文30余篇,其中SCI论文10余篇,申请国家发明专利10余项,译有《比较基因组学手册:原理与方法》一书。

研究方向

1酶的结构生物学与生物信息学

借助结构生物学和生物信息学技术深入研究重要工业酶的序列、结构和功能关系,在对酶蛋白三维空间结构进行解析的基础上,通过对酶蛋白进行构效解析、理性设计和定向进化,提出理性设计和定向进化策略来生产新型和改良工业酶。

2、精细化学品的生物催化与转化

开展工业生物催化剂及其催化过程的研究,采用酶或全细胞催化技术,生产化学法难以转化与合成的新型生物产品,或替代现行化学合成工艺中的复杂步骤。研究生物体及其酶进行定向物质转化的分子机制,开发新的生物合成技术。开发化工原料、医药原料、手性化合物、功能糖与糖基化学品等高值精细化学品的高效生物合成技术,以生物技术改造化学工业过程。
