In the morning of Sept 16th, Prof. NIU Shengjie (Vice President) had a meeting with the delegation led by Prof. Harrison from Macquarie University (MU). Prof. NIU, along with representatives from College of Overseas Education, Office of Teaching Affairs, College of Economics and Management, welcomed Prof. Harrison and Stella Wang from Jiangsu International Foundation for Education Excellence (JIFEE) in the conference room in the administrative building. Both universities had an in-depth discussion on the potential 2+2 dual degree program of Accounting on bachelor level.
Prof. NIU gave a brief introduction to NanjingTech. He said that NanjingTech is ready to start the 2+2 dual degree program of Accounting and he hoped that both sides would, on this basis, promote bilateral cooperation on talents cultivation on master and PhD level and in scientific research.
Prof. Harrison gave a brief introduction to Macquarie University. He said the 2+2 dual degree program is a great opportunity for both universities to start and improve exchanges and cooperation between NanjingTech and MU in teaching and research.
Staff from the College of Economics and Management introduced to the delegation the general information of the college and cultivation of students in Finance and Accounting.

It has a student population of about 45,000, among which about 10,500 are international students. MU is well-known for Business majors including Finance and Accounting. In 2016, its Business was ranked 1stin Australia and top 100 in the world by QS.
2. The 2+2 Program on Accounting (Bachelor) between NanjingTech and MU will be a dual-degree, double-campus and credit-transfer joint cultivation program in the future.
