Mainly engaged in research on new building technologies and materials for energy saving,Kai Zhanghas published more than 50 academic papers, including more than 40 SCI/ EI retrieval papers, 9 authorized invention patents and 7 registered software copyrights; presided over general programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, projects supported by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, as well as several lateral subjects; participated in more than 20 longitudinal research projects such as the National Key R & D Program and lateral subjects.
