Zhao Yegraduated from Peking Union Medical College in 2011 and later became a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Life Sciences of the National University of Singapore. Now, she serves asamaster tutor of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nanjing Tech University. She has presided over projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as free exploration projects supported by The Synergetic Innovation Center for Advanced Materials.

At present, her main research fields are as follows: (1) exploration on biomarkers of hepatic fibrosis and the molecular mechanism of hepatic fibrosis / early cirrhosis; (2) the liver pathological model, pathogenesis and drug screening of HBV/HCV-related transgenic zebrafish; and (3)explore the immune regulation mechanism of microflora on the occurrence of diseases in the microecology.
